The Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht and the coaching and scouting staff are currently in Indianapolis at the NFL Combine.

Friday, Licht decided to introduce himself to the writer Connor Orr who works for Sports Illustrated. Why would Licht go out of his way to introduce himself to Orr? Well, Orr does SI’s yearly team record prediction articles. And let’s just say Orr’s predictions for the Bucs last season wasn’t good. So of course Licht wanted to remind him of it.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2–15)

“The Buccaneers are going to be overmatched this year, it seems. I don’t know how Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask will pilot a team through some rough pockets of games, including Weeks 11 to 16, where they face two legitimate Super Bowl contenders, along with some burgeoning teams that should be rounding into form by then.”

Jason Licht is one of the most personable guys you’ll meet. He’s genuine and honest, sometimes to a fault. Kudos to Licht for busting Orr’s chops. And kudos to Orr for being a good sport.
