Just two days after their 37-14 Week 12 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, the Arizona Cardinals have made the following roster moves:
"The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has released running back Keaontay Ingram and defensive lineman Ben Stille from the active roster and has released offensive lineman Austen Pleasants from the practice squad."
Ingram entered the season battling for RB2 duties behind James Conner alongside Emari Demercado. Arizona ultimately wasn't pleased with his outlook, as other names such as Marlon Mack and now Michael Carter have been brought in to supplement Conner.
Ingram - a sixth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft - started one of eight games for Arizona this season. He averaged just 2.1 yards per carry on 35 attempts.
Stille has been on Arizona's practice squad this year and has featured in four games for the Cardinals. He had two tackles on Sunday.
Pleasants arrived to Arizona's practice squad earlier in November. He last played in a game for Carolina in 2021.
The Cardinals - sitting at 2-10 on the year - are hitting the road in Week 13 as the Pittsburgh Steelers play host at Acrisure Stadium.
