Chiefs, three-time Pro Bowl LT Orlando Brown Jr. expected to start extension talks soon

The Kansas City Chiefs will reportedly be opening up contract extension talks soon with one of the premier offensive tackles in the NFL.

Brown was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft and started 10 of his 16 regular-season games played as a rookie, plus one contest in the playoffs. Brown started all 16 games for the Ravens in 2019, recorded a career-low two penalties that year and made his first Pro Bowl.

The former Oklahoma Sooner again started all 16 of Baltimore's regular season games in 2020 (plus both of their playoff tilts) and earned his second straight Pro Bowl nod. Brown was traded to the Chiefs in April 2021.

Kansas City placed the franchise tag on the 26-year-old in March.
