The Los Angeles Chargers have been busy as of late as they get further into their early OTA's and get ready for their mandatory minicamp that is taking place this week. We have gotten some great footage showcasing how Justin Herbert is already getting comfortable with his new offensive options, Joey Bosa has been able to shed light on his goals for the upcoming year, and we even got to see a rehabbing J.C. Jackson prepare to return.

Even though Jackson has revealed that he fully believes he'll be able to suit up again for the Bolts when they face off against the Miami Dolphins in Week one and after playing just five games in 2022, he looks to make good on showing fans why he received a big contract last offseason.

However, knee injuries are always super tough to come back from on a set schedule. Especially with Jackson playing a position that requires him to cover some of the best receivers in the game, Chargers Wire's Gavino Borquez detailed the argument that LA should bring back Bryce Callahan.

"Ja’Sir Taylor played well in the slot in his rookie season, but banking on him to start might be a tall task. Bringing back Callahan could provide the position with a proven veteran and stability. Callahan, who was signed last offseason, was a pivotal piece in their defense in 2022. In 11 games started, he set new career-best marks in tackles (47) while picking off three passes."

LA has a lot of options on their hands and especially seeing how Ja'Sir Taylor has been making strides in OTA's, maybe the Bolts won't need to have contract conversations with Callahan.
