DeAndre Hopkins on J.J. Watt signing: 'Life is good in Arizona!'

Life is good in Arizona, according to Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins

Hopkins, who was traded to the Cardinals in March 2020 from the Houston Texans, shared his excitement about J.J. Watt's decision to sign with the franchise in free agency.

Watt and Hopkins were teammates in Houston from 2013-19. After a year away from each other, they'll be teammates once again. Hopkins even recruited Watt to the Cardinals, saying in an Instagram post: "Let's finish what we started..." after the three-time Pro Bowler was released from the Texans.

In his first season with the Cardinals, Hopkins caught 115 passes for 1,407 yards and six touchdowns. Despite his offensive output, Arizona missed the playoffs after finishing 8-8.

Watt is hoping to help change the trajectory of the franchise, which hasn't made the playoffs since 2015. With Hopkins, Chandler Jones, Kyler Murray and many others on board, the Cardinals have much better odds to make the playoffs in 2021.
