Watt, a three-time Defensive Player of the Year and five-time All-Pro, will line up opposite three-time Pro Bowler Chandler Jones, who recorded a career-high 19 sacks in 2019.
Rumors on Monday indicated that Watt had narrowed his list to the Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills based on a Peloton profile people assumed was his. He quickly denied those rumors, saying he doesn't own a Peloton.
The Cardinals finished the 2020 season 8-8 and missed the playoffs after losing their final game of the season to the Los Angeles Rams. Watt wanted to play for a Super Bowl contender, so he must believe the Cardinals are a championship-ready team despite middling results this past season.
