Jonah Williams is visiting the Minnesota Vikings on Monday. Could he be another piece to Brian Flores' defensive puzzle?

Williams is 28 years old and is 6-foot-5 and 275 pounds. Last season with the Rams he had 35 tackles along with two sacks, two quarterback hits and he hurried the quarterback 13 times, according to numbers tracked by Pro Football Focus.

Williams primarily played left end and right end in Los Angeles' 3-4 base defense, which would suit him in Minnesota's 3-4 scheme. If he signs with the Vikings, he could compete for snaps with Jaquelin Roy, Jonathan Bullard and Jerry Tillery.

Not only does head coach Kevin O'Connell have familiarity with Williams when they were both in Los Angeles in 2021, but so too does Vikings defensive line coach, Marcus Dixon, who coached Williams in L.A. in 2021.

According to Over The Cap, the Vikings still have about $16.9 million in cap space, so they still have a chance to upgrade the roster in free agency.
