Falcons All-Pro WR Julio Jones ruled out vs. Chargers

Julio Jones has been nursing a hamstring injury throughout the duration of the 2020 season. The Atlanta Falcons wide receiver has missed a number of games because of the injury, and now he's set to miss another.

Falcons interim head coach Raheem Morris announced Friday morning that Jones has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. However, the team hasn't determined if he'll miss the remainder of the season with his injury.

Jones has appeared in nine games this season, catching the ball 51 times for 771 yards and three touchdowns. If Morris rules him out for the remainder of the year, it will be his first season since 2013 without 1,000 receiving yards.

Morris also confirmed on Friday that running back Todd Gurley will resume his "normal role" within the offense after he had just eight carries last weekend.
