Former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Chukwuma Okorafor is already expected to be a hot commodity in the free agency market, and is receiving praise as one of the top options available.

After his release by the Steelers, which included the dismissal of Mitch Trubisky and Pressley Harvin as well, Okorafor headed off to his first experience in the open market. At just 27-years-old, Okorafor is believed to be a top 10 free agent tackle in this year's market, being listed as the eighth-best available option by CBS Sports.

Okorafor is ahead of Yosh Nijman and Andrus Peat in this year's free agency class.

However, CBS Sports believes there aren't many "surefire starters" at tackle in free agency, stating "only two or three who can be counted on to be above-average players at the position."

The Steelers' third-round pick in 2018, Okorafor claimed his starting job in 2020. Since then, he's started 55 games in the NFL, but was benched this past season for rookie Broderick Jones.

Okorafor could make the change to left tackle, where he is likely a better fit for his pass protection skills. And still having three years before he turns 30, it's expected he lands with a new team relatively quickly in free agency.
