Former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Levi Wallace is visiting with the Denver Broncos on Friday, according to a report by Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report.

Wallace started 18 games at outside cornerback for the Steelers over the last two seasons after coming over from the Buffalo Bills as a free agent in 2022.

He played in 15 games and made nine starts in his first season in Pittsburgh in 2022, collecting 48 tackles, 13 passes defended and four interceptions, helping the Steelers to the NFL lead.

This past season, Wallace was the lone holdover at cornerback, as the Steelers moved on from Art Maulet, Cam Sutton and Ahkello Witherspoon, bringing in Patrick Peterson and Chandon Sullivan as free agents and drafting Joey Porter Jr.

Wallace started alongside Peterson, but ended up as the odd man out when Porter took over a starting role midseason. He later regained his starting job when Peterson moved to safety to replace the suspended Damontae Kazee late in the season. In 16 games, he made nine starts, recorded 38 tackles, defended 11 passes and grabbed two interceptions. His six interceptions over the last two seasons tied Minkah Fitzpatrick for the team lead.

The Steelers have not appeared interested in re-signing Wallace. They released Peterson earlier this offseason and acquired cornerback Donte Jackson from the Carolina Panthers in exchange for wide receiver Diontae Johnson.

“It feels good, man,” Wallace said of being a free agent again. “This is not the first time for me doing this, so it’s always exciting. There’s new opportunities and a new team. So, I look forward to the process and going somewhere and being a good part of that defense as well.”
