James Robinson rushed for 100 yards, including a 50-yard scoring dash early in the third quarter and the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars rolled to a 38-10 victory over the injury-plagued Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday at Inglewood, Calif.

Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence threw for 262 yards and three touchdowns, while Zay Jones caught 10 passes for 85 yards and a score. Christian Kirk and Marvin Jones Jr. also caught TD passes.

Jacksonville (2-1) has defeated the Indianapolis Colts and Chargers in consecutive weeks after losing eight of the last nine games to close out the 2021 season and dropping the season opener this year. The Jaguars won consecutive games for the first time since Oct. 20 and 27, 2019.

Chargers (1-2) quarterback Justin Herbert was 25 of 45 from 297 yards, one touchdown and one interception while playing through a rib injury. Herbert fractured rib cartilage during Monday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Los Angeles was without wide receiver Keenan Allen (hamstring) for the second-consecutive game, while star defensive end Joey Bosa left in the first quarter with a groin injury and did not return. Left tackle Rashawn Slater left in the third quarter with a biceps injury.

A pair of Herbert turnovers in the first half, one interception and one fumble, led to a pair of field goals from Jacksonville's Riley Patterson and a 6-0 lead early in the second quarter.

The Jaguars moved in front 13-0 with 10:23 remaining in the first half on a 14-yard touchdown pass from Lawrence to Jones.

The Chargers pulled within 13-7 with 6:10 remaining in the first half when Herbert found Mike Williams for a 15-yard TD pass. But another Patterson field goal, from 23 yards, gave the Jaguars a 16-7 lead just before halftime.

The Chargers got a 25-yard field goal from Dustin Hopkins on their first drive of the second half before the Jaguars answered with a five-play 75-yard drive that was capped by Robinson's 50-yard run. The lead was extended to 31-10 when Kirk caught a 4-yard TD pass from Lawrence late in the third quarter.

Lawrence's third TD pass came with 4:54 remaining when he found Jones in the back of the end zone for an 11-yard score.

The Jaguars scored at least 30 points for the first time since Sept. 20, 2020 against the Tennessee Titans. It was the first time they scored at least 30 in a victory since Dec. 29, 2019 against the Indianapolis Colts.
