As is customary this time of year, the Jets have signed nine players to reserve/future deals with the 2023 season in the rear view mirror.

As reported by multiple outlets, the nine players include:

RB Jacques Patrick: Dalvin Cook’s backup in college, Patrick has bounced around with a few practice squads while seeing very little action.  The 6′ 2” 231 pound back has just 2 NFL carries.

WR Malik Taylor: Taylor played a handful of snaps for the Jets this season after coming over from the Green Bay Packers as a free agent this past offseason.

WR Lance McCutcheon: The 6′ 3” Montana State product has spent time with the Rams, Texans and Jets without logging an NFL catch.

OL Obinna Eze: A huge lineman, Eze checks in at 6′ 8” 325 and played his college football at Memphis and TCU where he started over 30 games at offensive tackle.

OL Vitaliy Gurman: Spent two seasons at Toledo before landing on the Chiefs, Raiders and Cardinals practice squads.  The Jets added Gurman to their practice squad earlier this month.

DL Manny Jones: A versatile defender in college for Colorado State where he played linebacker and defensive line, Jones has yet to appear in an NFL game.

DL Marquiss Spencer: The former Arkansas defensive lineman who was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the seventh round of the 2021 draft, Spencer spent all of this season on the Jets practice squad.

CB Tae Hayes: Was with the Jets this past season and played 13 snaps on defense against the Eagles.

K Austin Seibert: A 2019 fifth-round pick by the Browns, Seibert has hit on 45 of 56 career FG attempts.
