The NFL's regular season is over, which for most teams, means it's time to start figuring out plans for the offseason.

NFL free agency is a huge part of the process, and along with the NFL Draft, it has everyone preparing for what should be a very active couple of months.

We've officially come up with our own contract projections for the NFL's top free agents that include context behind each player's 2023 season, the likelihood of a franchise tag, the projection itself, and the first-year cap hit for a team that's “all-in” and is needing to reduce that first-year hit in order to maximize their cap dollars.

So, without further ado, let's check out the projection for Washington Commanders cornerback Kendall Fuller.

Kendall Fuller 2024 Contract Projection

Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

During a forgettable season for the Commanders, Fuller was a bright spot. He allowed less than 0.8 yards per coverage snap while limiting opposing receivers to less than 50 catches for the second consecutive season.

Fuller’s recent performance is eerily similar to that of the Bucs’ Jamel Dean prior to his signing a four year, $52 million deal. And Fuller has been steadier over a longer time frame. Because he will be 29 when the 2024 regular season starts he likely won’t be able to match the length of Dean’s contact. But he has a good opportunity to eclipse Dean’s $13 million APY.

  • Franchise Tag Likelihood: Low
  • 3 years, $42.0 million, $14 million APY, $17.75 million GTD
  • Year One Cap Hit: $5.5 million

Be sure to check back in and around the site for more projections, as we will add more in the coming days and weeks.
