King of Props: Olave oils the offense

This year’s NFL draft saw 13 wide receivers selected within the first 54 picks. Two of those who have made the biggest impact, the Saints’ Chris Olave (taken 11th overall) and the Steelers’ George Pickens (52nd), will be on display this afternoon in Pittsburgh. Although each team has already suffered six losses, the game should be made watchable by these dynamic young playmakers – and the former is the subject of our top prop:

The bet: Over 62½ receiving yards for Saints wide receiver Chris Olave (DraftKings)

With Michael Thomas, the single-season record holder for receptions, on the shelf since Week 4, Olave has seized the role of No. 1 wideout for New Orleans. Over his last three games, he has been targeted a whopping 30 times and recorded 229 receiving yards, good for an average of 76.

Meanwhile, the Steelers field the second-worst pass defense in the league on both a per-play and per-game basis. Their secondary has also been decimated, as cornerbacks Will Jackson and Ahkello Witherspoon are out with injuries and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick will miss the game after undergoing an appendectomy yesterday.

Olave runs a lot of deep routes and averages 137 air yards per game, which leads the league. If he catches passes for just half of that total today, he clears this number and gives us a winner.
