Matt LaFleur, what would you say ... you do here? 

You're supposed to be an offensive wizard, fallen straight from the Kyle Shanahan and Sean McVay tree. You're supposed to be the reason Aaron Rodgers had a career resurgence and won two more NFL MVP awards. 

You're supposed to be a major reason why you went 13-3 in your first three seasons. Last season's 8-9 season was supposed to be an anomaly.

You're supposed to be a good coach, but you've looked anything but in the first five games in the post-Rodgers era.

The numbers are grim. 

Green Bay's offense, which is supposed to be LaFleur's specialty, is ranked 28th in the NFL in yards per game with just 281.6. 

LaFleur's young quarterback, Jordan Love, has inarguably regressed every game of this season. He's completed over 60% of his passes in just one of five games, and he's thrown five interceptions in the past two games. That included three in "Monday Night Football's" loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Love is a problem right now,  but watching the games it's clear that LaFleur's conservative and almost scared play-calling is doing him no favors.

That's all worrisome, but perhaps most worrisome in Green Bay is LaFleur's inability to prepare his team to come out firing.

In Green Bay's past two primetime games — on Thursday night against the Detroit Lions and then on Monday versus the Raiders — his offense looked shellshocked in the first half. The Packers scored just three points in the first half against the Detroit Lions and they followed that up with a similar performance in the first half against Las Vegas.

Going back to Green Bay's Week 3 win against the New Orleans Saints, the Packers have scored just six points total in the past three first halves considering the fact that they went into halftime against the Saints down 17-0.

In fact, if it wasn't for that miraculous 18-17 comeback win (which to be fair, Love and LaFleur deserve credit for), the Packers would be 1-4 with. Even at 2-3, there's a strong case to be made that they've only played good football in three or four (being generous) of the 20 quarters of football they've played so far this year.

So, again, LaFleur ... what is it you do here?

Your team looks as lost and confused as you do on the sideline, and this season, there's not a four-time MVP and future Hall of Famer around to bail you out.
