Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Isaiah Rodgers is active again.

ESPN's Adam Schefter announced on Tuesday that the NFL has reinstated Rodgers following his 2023 gambling suspension.

"The NFL reinstated Philadelphia’s Isaiah Rodgers, who was suspended for the 2023 season for violating the NFL’s gambling policy. He may participate in all team activities, effective immediately," Schefter reported.

Rodgers, 26, was originally a sixth-round pick out of UMass by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2020 NFL draft.

In 2023, he was suspended for the season after he violated the NFL's sports gambling policy.

Per ESPN, Rodgers placed over 100 bets that ranged anywhere from $25 to $50. He also placed a $1,000 prop bet that included the Colts.

At the time of the suspension, Rodgers told ESPN that the bets he placed were made for other people.

"That report is true, with it being $1,000, but that report wasn't made from my device," Rodgers said to ESPN. "The $25 to $50 bets are exactly true, but it was more crazy-leg parlays with just $25 trying to make a crazy amount. Just funny bets. Nothing too serious."

A few months later, Rodgers was released by the Colts and then the Eagles picked him up.

Rodgers was a key contributor on Indianapolis' special teams and widely considered a promising up-and-coming cornerback in the league before his suspension.

In three seasons with the Colts, Rodgers saw action in 45 games and made 10 starts where he logged 88 tackles, 10 passes defensed and three interceptions.

Rodgers has yet to play a snap for the Eagles, but he will finally get the opportunity to do so this upcoming season.

He joins a weak Eagles secondary that stars two aging cornerbacks, James Bradberry and Darius Slay.
