NFL Week 15: Three Sunday touchdown prop bets
If you missed them, we dug into the Saturday action as well for touchdown prop bettors, so be sure to check out those looks. We won't forget Sunday, of course, and for this week, we're turning to some longer odds plays to keep our TD run going strong.
We recommend .5u on wagers such as these.
Tyler Allgeier (+360 DraftKings)
Don't get it twisted, Bijan Robinson is a fantastic bet for a touchdown on Sunday and is worth your consideration. All we're saying is to at least consider the possibility that Allgeier is the superior value here in a smash spot for running back scores.
No team in the NFL has allowed more touchdowns to running backs this season than the Carolina Panthers. There's only been two games this year that Carolina has failed to surrender a RB touchdown, and against the run-heavy Atlanta Falcons, we expect this weakness to remain so.
Allgeier has averaged 2.4 red zone rush attempts per game this season, and he scored two touchdowns earlier this year against the Panthers. At this price, jump in.
Jordan Mason (+425 DraftKings)
Let's stay on the backup running backs and mention San Francisco's Jordan Mason. Mason scored last week, spelling Christian McCaffrey after a long run.
Elijah Mitchell missed practice this week, suggesting he may not be active again on Sunday. Mason and McCaffrey are facing a vulnerable Cardinals run defense that has allowed the third-most yards per game and the second-most touchdowns to running backs.
In a potential blowout, is it that inconceivable to suggest Mason gets some added work to lessen McCaffrey's load? CMC is -350 to score, this is clearly the better bet, maybe just wait until Mitchell's status is confirmed.
Demarcus Robinson (+260 FanDuel)
Demarcus Robinson has grown into the WR3 role for the Los Angeles Rams, a valuable spot to be in a matchup like this against the Washington Commanders. Washington is arguably the worst secondary in football, and they're allowing the second-most touchdowns per game to WRs.
Robinson has scored in two straight games and has clearly gained Matthew Stafford's trust. Go to him here on Sunday afternoon in a big game for the rams.
