Numerous NFL players make generous donations to coronavirus pandemic relief

Some Monday Positivity came in the form of a massive update from the NFLPA on the many players who have donated money or goods to COVID-19 relief efforts.

Tennessee Titans cornerback Malcolm Butler is providing money for medical supplies for a Nashville-based hospital while also providing meals for 600 senior citizens in his hometown of Vicksburg, Miss.

Moving on to the Minnesota Vikings, running back Dalvin Cook and defensive end Danielle Hunte teamed up to donate their EA Sports "Madden" checks to North Memorial Hospital to obtain essential safety gear to fight the coronavirus.

Even Vikings linebacker Eric Kendricks is selling his paintings for charity. Houston Texans wide receiver Kenny Stills bought the first painting and wanted Kendricks to donate the funds to The Sheridan Story.

Heading out West, Los Angeles Rams safety Taylor Rapp donated $6,250 to the Washington Food Lifeline and Meals on Wheels.

Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Kenny Clark and Vikings running back Alexander Mattison also are helping out on the food front. They're both donating money to Feed America Inland Empire and Meals on Wheels.

Similarly, San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle Arik Armstead and Carolina Panthers linebacker Shaq Thompson are rewarding families who support small businesses by ordering takeout from local  restaurants.

Finally, Las Vegas Raiders running back Jalen Richard is funding gas cards for volunteers who are delivering food to low-income families.

The players donating their hard-earned money to help out amid the coronavirus outbreak is an unbelievable gesture, and quite frankly, is something everyone should appreciate during this difficult time.
