The Philadelphia Eagles were able to sign away a two-time Super Bowl champion offensive lineman nearly a week after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas. The Eagles signed a couple of players on Tuesday.

The Kansas City Chiefs won two Super Bowls in a row

The Chiefs won back-to-back Super Bowls with the win over the 49ers. Their Super Bowl win for the 2022 season came at the expense of the Eagles. Now, the Eagles will have a player who was a rookie for the Chiefs in their Super Bowl matchup.

The Philadelphia Eagles signed a former Chiefs draft pick

Per a statement by the Eagles, the team signed offensive tackle Darian Kinnard.

Darian Kinnard has two Super Bowl rings

The Chiefs drafted Kinnard in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Kinnard was cut at the end of training camp before the 2023 season but was signed to the Chiefs practice squad. He was on the team when they defeated the 49ers in February’s Super Bowl.

Kinnard played in no offensive snaps for the Chiefs, who have a talented offensive line. He appeared in one game for the Chiefs for the 2022 season. The Eagles will hope to develop Kinnard this offseason.
