This year’s free agency period is set to be filled with standout running backs, including Las Vegas Raiders’ Josh Jacobs.

The Raiders placed the franchise tag on Jacobs last March. The two sides ultimately came to terms on a one-year deal worth up to $12 million in August.

The Raiders can prevent Jacobs from becoming an unrestricted free agent next month. They have until March 5 to make a final call on whether to once again issue the veteran running back the franchise tag or allow him to hit free agency.

At the moment, the odds favor the Raiders bringing back Jacobs for the 2024 season.

Josh Jacobs next team odds

According to DraftKings, the Raiders boast the best odds (-200) to sign Jacobs to a contract deal in free agency.

The Los Angeles Chargers (+750) hold the second-best odds to bring in Jacobs, and they are followed by the Houston Texans at +850, according to DraftKings.

The Baltimore Ravens have been handed the fourth-best odds (+950) to land Jacobs, which comes as the team has a mere two running backs who are under contract for the 2024 campaign.

Jacobs is coming off of a 2023 season in which he tallied 1,101 yards from scrimmage and six total touchdowns over 13 games played.
