Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp had a rough year in 2023, but fellow wide out Puka Nacua is expecting big things from his teammate next season.

During a recent appearance on The Rush podcast with Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby, Nacua said that Kupp is healthy and ready to reassume his position as one of the game’s top receivers in 2024.

“I’ve been training with Coop so it’s been good,” Nacua said. “He’s on a revenge tour. He’s been able to get a healthy offseason and stuff so he’s back at it.”

Kupp suffered a hamstring injury last summer and ended up missing the first four games of this past season because of it. He missed five contests overall.

During the time he was on the field, Kupp was certainly productive, logging 59 catches for 737 yards and five touchdowns, but it was clear that the injury hi-jacked his campaign.

Kupp also dealt with injury issues in 2022, as he appeared in just nine games and finished with 75 grabs for 812 yards and six scores.

The 30-year-old is now three seasons removed from posting a triple crown, when he led all NFL receivers with 145 receptions, 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2021.

That season represented Kupp’s lone Pro Bowl appearance and also his one and only First-Team All-Pro selection thus far.

Meanwhile, Nacua had a historic rookie campaign, setting league rookie records for both catches (105) and receiving yards (1,486) to go along with six touchdowns. He earned a Pro Bowl appearance and a Second-Team All-Pro nod for his efforts.

If Cooper Kupp remains healthy alongside of Puka Nacua for all of next season, the Rams will boast one of the NFL’s best receiving tandems.

Los Angeles went 10-7 this past year and fell to the Detroit Lions in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs.
