Rams-Seahawks Week 15 game moved to Tuesday

The Week 15 NFC West battle between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks is one of three games that the NFL has moved due to COVID-19.

Los Angeles and Seattle were originally scheduled to kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday, but the Rams have seen an exorbitant number of players placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list this week, including wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. The Cleveland Browns-Las Vegas Raiders game scheduled for Saturday has been moved to Monday due to upward of 24 Cleveland players currently being in the protocol, while the Philadelphia Eagles-Washington Football Team contest slated for Sunday has been pushed to Monday.

The Rams are in good position to make the postseason for the fourth time in five years, as they are currently the No. 5 seed in the NFC at 9-4 and hold a two-game edge over the next closest team. The Seahawks meanwhile are in danger of missing the playoffs for the first time since 2017, as they enter Week 15 at 5-8 and outside of the playoff picture.

Los Angeles and Seattle will now be a part of a Tuesday night doubleheader, with kickoff for the Eagles-Football Team game also slated for 7 p.m. ET.
