Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

Aaron Rodgers is still deciding whether he wants to play in Green Bay or elsewhere next season, and one team sounds determined to land the NFL MVP if he opts for a fresh start.

The Denver Broncos are “willing to compete” to find a way to acquire Rodgers, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. They are prepared to do that via a contract extension offer and/or draft-pick compensation.

Fowler also reports that the Packers have made Rodgers a significant contract offer that would alter the quarterback market in the NFL. If Rodgers does leave Green Bay, it does not seem like the choice will have anything to do with money.

Denver has been viewed as a logical landing spot for Rodgers since he first had issues with the Packers last offseason. There has been talk about Green Bay setting an unrealistic asking price for Rodgers, but the Broncos are clearly willing to spend big.

Rodgers is said to have “specific deals” in place with the Broncos and two other teams. It seems like he has a clear idea of where he wants to go if he asks out of Green Bay.
