Report: Giants to interview Chiefs quarterbacks coach Mike Kafka for OC position

The New York Giants have already hired their new general manager and head coach in Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll, respectively. Now, they're looking to tackle the task of bringing in a new offensive coordinator.

They found out on Tuesday that Ken Dorsey wouldn't be following his former Buffalo Bills coworkers to MetLife Stadium. On Wednesday morning, it was reported that they would host another candidate in for an interview.

Kafka was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft and played in four career games, all coming during the 2011 season. Kafka bounced between teams through the 2015 campaign, spending time on both the active roster and practice squad.

The 34-year-old began his coaching career as an offensive graduate assistant with Northwestern in 2016. Kafka was hired as the Kansas City Chiefs' offensive quality control coach in February 2017 and was promoted to quarterbacks coach one year later.
