The Baltimore Ravens - like a lot of NFL teams this offseason - have lots of questions to answer in free agency. With no less than 29 pending free agents on the current roster, general manager Eric DeCosta has his work cut out for him to put together another roster in 2024 that can compete for a Super Bowl.

Bleacher Report thinks one of those 29 free agents might be one that DeCosta and the Ravens might be overlooking.

"Ronald Darby seems to be flying under the radar despite a stellar 2023 season with the Baltimore Ravens. Darby was sixth in the league in passer rating allowed and had the lowest average target separation (0.9 yards) in the league.

"The reality is that Darby has been a solid starter for years. He's had a few seasons hampered by injuries, but he's only given up a passer rating of 100.0 or more once in the last six years."

While Darby does appear to still have elite speed and didn't show any sign of slowing last season, there are still concerns for the Ravens or any team who thinks about signing him.

He's 30 years old and has had two ACL tears.

But with his performance last season, the Ravens would be wise to at least look at the asking price and see if it's doable.

He's familiar with the existing defensive system that was installed by new Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald and will be carried on by new Ravens defensive coordinator Zach Orr.

And familiarity can go a long way when you've got other young players who might be trying to learn the system from scratch.
