The Pittsburgh Steelers have certainly made some notable moves this offseason. However, most of these moves have centered around the quarterback position. Now, the Steelers are choosing to address another position. Read below to find out who the Steelers have signed now.

Pittsburgh Steelers Signing WR Van Jefferson

According to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team, the Steelers plan to sign WR Van Jefferson. Considering the announcement earlier today that practically confirms QB Russell Wilson will be their starter going forward, this move gives Wilson another offensive weapon to work with. Meirov expects the contract to last for one year.

What Van Jefferson Offers

It is fair to question how much Jefferson brings to the table. Once rookie WR Puka Nacua came on the scene and Cooper Kupp returned from his injury, the Rams truthfully had little use for Jefferson. As a result, they traded him to the Atlanta Falcons in the middle of the 2023 season.

However, Jefferson had little to show in 2023. He had just 209 receiving yards and did not have a single touchdown reception last season. Now, the Steelers hope they can provide Jefferson with the fresh start that he needs.
