Three biggest takeaways from Steelers' Week 11 loss

The Steelers lost to the Browns 13-10 on Sunday to fall to 6-4 and third place in the AFC North. Here are the three biggest takeaways from Pittsburgh's Week 11 loss.

Kenny concern

The Steelers couldn't get anything going on offense once again and a large reason why was QB Kenny Pickett. The second-year quarterback struggled in the loss, throwing for just 106 yards and zero touchdowns on 28 attempts. Pickett missed throws any NFL quarterback should make and didn't take many chances down the field.

Only time will tell if Pittsburgh will move on from its 2022 first-round pick in the offseason, but he still gives the team the best chance to win over backups Mitch Trubisky and Mason Rudolph. If Pickett can turn his season around, he may just save his career in the Steel City.

Warren is dynamic

RB Jaylen Warren looked like, by far, the best Steeler on the field in Week 11. The second-year running back had 145 total yards, including a 74-yard touchdown run that fueled a Pittsburgh comeback after starting the game down 10-0. Pickett believes putting the ball in Warren's hands gives the team the best chance to win.

"We need to continue getting it to him, whether it's the pass game or the run game," Pickett told reporters. "The guy always makes plays so it's awesome to have 30 in the backfield."

Predictability

There is plenty of blame to go around for the Steelers loss but the name that keeps popping up is Matt Canada. The offensive coordinator has received a lot of criticism this year from those outside the organization, but now it seems like some of his own players are starting to turn on him.

RB Najee Harris was asked if other teams know what plays the offense is about to run. After a long pause, Harris said, "Yeah in some situations, to be honest with you."
