Three Dolphins named PFF Midseason All-Pros

The Miami Dolphins offense has been nearly unstoppable in 2022, and that success has resulted in three players being named to the Pro Football Focus Midseason All-Pro Teams.

Wide receiver Tyreek Hill earned a first-team nod after a dominant first nine weeks.

Hill’s 1,104 receiving yards leads the NFL and is more than the combined wide receiver groups of eight teams. His 76 receptions also lead the league, and he is on pace for a record-breaking 2,085 yards.

Additionally, his PFF grade of 92.1 is the best among receivers.

Wide receiver Jaylen Waddle earned a spot on the second team. He is fifth in the NFL with 812 receiving yards and third with six receiving touchdowns.

Distributing the ball to the premier receiver duo is quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who in the midst of a career year. He was named to the second team.

The Dolphins are 6-0 in games that Tagovailoa has started and finished this season, and his PFF grade of 89.5 ranks first for quarterbacks.

Of his 15 touchdown passes, nine have come on third or fourth down.

Under first-year head coach Mike McDaniel, the Dolphins' once-unreliable offense has become one of the best in the game, and the results are backed by PFF’s analysis.

While Hill is enjoying one of the best seasons in NFL history, he also takes pleasure in seeing his teammates succeed.

"It's fun, man. I feel like a guy like Jaylen Waddle doesn't get enough credit for what he truly does, kind of similar like me early on in my career,” Hill said, per the team. “So just to see him succeed and just to see guys like Tua succeeding in this league and just the whole offensive line doing their thing, man, it makes me smile."

With eight regular-season games left, the 6-3 Dolphins occupy the sixth seed in the AFC playoff race.
