Tom Brady channels FDR, continues to hold 'illegal' workouts

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady continues to ignore NFL Players Association guidelines regarding summer workouts amid the coronavirus pandemic.

After the NFLPA sent a letter to players advising against group workouts in states experiencing coronavirus spikes, such as Florida, the six-time Super Bowl champion, tight end Rob Gronkowski, and other Tampa Bay players were spotted training at Berkeley Preparatory School, where members of the Bucs have worked out throughout the spring.

On Thursday, Brady shared a picture on Instagram in his workout gear with the caption: "'Only thing we have to fear, is fear itself' - FDR:"

As Bleacher Report's Brent Sobleski noted, Brady missed a different part of the famous Franklin D. Roosevelt inauguration speech:

From The Project Gutenberg EBook:

"More important, a host of unemployed citizens face the grim problem of existence, and an equally great number toil with little return. Only a foolish optimist can deny the dark realities of the moment."
