Tom Brady: 'I got no chance against Eli' on golf course
Tom Brady and Peyton Manning will have another chance to go head-to-head, but this time it'll be on the golf course and not the football field.
Manning will team up with Tiger Woods and compete against Brady and Phil Mickelson in "The Match: Champions for Charity" on Sunday. The golf tournament will raise at least $10 million, if not more, for COVID-19 relief charities.
Despite not being favored to win, Brady thinks he's got a serious shot at beating Manning and even admitted that he wouldn't be too keen on playing a match against another member of the Manning family.
Eli Manning is 3-2 all-time against Brady, including two championship wins over the former New England Patriots quarterback in Super Bowl XLII and XLVI, so it's no surprise Brady doesn't want to face the younger Manning brother again. Against Peyton, though, Brady is 11-6 in both the regular season and playoffs, and he'll have the opportunity to add to that total on Sunday.
Although it doesn't count toward the NFL standings, both athletes will be looking to take home some major bragging rights. Things are sure to get heated on the golf course when things get underway at the Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Florida at 3 p.m. ET on TNT and TBS.
