Tyreek Hill makes bold claim about 2023 Dolphins

Miami Dolphins All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill was part of the Kansas City Chiefs team that defeated the San Francisco 49ers to win Super Bowl LIV in February 2020.

As shared by Shanna McCarriston of CBS Sports, Hill said during Tuesday's edition of the UEFA Champions League pregame show on the CBS Sports Network that he feels the 2023 Dolphins have "got the perfect team to" win it all this coming February.

The 8-3 Dolphins sit atop the AFC East standings and would be the No. 4 seed in the conference playoff bracket if the postseason tournament started before Week 13. As of late Tuesday afternoon, oddschecker listed Miami's Mike McDaniel as third among the betting favorites at +600 odds to earn Coach of the Year honors.

"The way our head coach prepares us each and every week man, it's next level," Hill explained during Tuesday's broadcast. "And he keeps each and every one of his guys in tune with the game plan and how we keep attention to detail each and every week. So it's a beautiful thing to see the way we practice, the way we play for one another is something that I've never seen before in a team. I won a Super Bowl and I feel like this is probably the better team than when we won a Super Bowl back when I was on K.C."

While ESPN stats show the Dolphins lead the AFC with an average of 30.8 points per game, StatMuse notes that Miami committed 19 total turnovers across its first 11 games of the campaign. Hill said he and other team leaders such as quarterback Tua Tagovailoa must do everything possible to eliminate avoidable mistakes during the final stretch of the season.

"The star players making plays, not turning the ball over and just being able to convert third downs," Hill added. "If we're able to do that and keep our defense off the field, we'll be alright."

Miami next plays at the 4-8 Washington Commanders on Sunday. On Tuesday, oddschecker had the Dolphins as 9.5-point favorites for that matchup.
