In what is pretty much a must-win for DK Metcalf and the 2-4 Seattle Seahawks, the star wide receiver came to play big time early Monday night against the New Orleans Saints.

Going up against stud cornerback Marshon Lattimore, Metcalf made a highlight-reel play that has seemingly defined his young career in the Pacific Northwest.

Check out the star pass-catcher haul in a target from quarterback Geno Smith and turn it up the field for an amazing 84-yard touchdown to give Seattle a 7-0 lead.

That’s certainly a good read from Smith recognizing one-on-one coverage on the outside. However, DK Metcalf used both his physical ability and speed to do the rest and give Seattle an early lead in a must-win game.

A third-year receiver out of Mississippi, the 6-foot-4 Metcalf entered Monday’s game having caught 31 passes for 441 yards and five touchdowns in six games this season. Seattle needs him to continue stepping up with star quarterback Russell Wilson on short-term injured reserve.
