Watch: Titans' Amani Hooker makes diving, tipped interception

You've heard of the immaculate reception. How about the immaculate interception?

Tennessee safety Amani Hooker did his best Franco Harris impression Saturday, laying out for an interception tipped off the hands of Samaje Perine in the third quarter of the Titans' playoff game against the Bengals.

With just under a minute-and-a-half to play, Cincinnati took over after a Tennessee field goal that cut it to a seven-point Bengals lead. Joe Burrow took the snap on first down and ran play action to Perine out of the backfield. With the pocket folding in on him, he checked down to Perine, and the ball bounced off his hands.

It seemed like an inconsequential incompletion, until Hooker came flying in from more than five yards out to pick it off.

The play was reviewed for a considerable amount of time, as replay angles showed it incredibly close to being incomplete. The call stood, however, and the Titans took over.

They did not waste the opportunity, either, as just two plays later, Ryan Tannehill found A.J. Brown for the game-tying touchdown. Brown reeled in the dime from his quarterback with just one hand as he crossed the goal line.
