FlamesNation managing editor Ryan Pike hopped on Sportsnet 960 The Fan’s Big Show on Monday afternoon. The main topic of conversation with Pat Steinberg and Will Nault was the demise of the Calgary arena deal.

(Jump to 158:45 for Pike’s segment.)

The trio dove deep on the arena deal’s demise and the many, many complex factors that led to the deal no longer working for the City of Calgary or the Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation.

They also discussed the Flames’ two game winning streak and their upcoming three games against three of the top teams in the league in Florida, Tampa Bay and Carolina.
