My player to watch for the St. Louis Blues against the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday is defenseman Justin Faulk.
It's crazy to think that the blueliner who gets as much ice time as Faulk does hasn't scored yet in 22 games for the Blues (12-9-1). But we're going to go with him getting his first goal tonight in the final matchup against the Coyotes this season (the Blues are 2-1-0).
Faulk does have 11 assists on the season but has yet to dent the twine, but we like him here in this spot to break the barrier because he has 20 points, including eight goals, in his career against Arizona.
The Blues have just eight goals from their blue line this season, and Colton Parayko has half of them. They need their other defensemen to chip in and Faulk, who has an assist against the Coyotes in three games this season, is in line to do that in this spot.
