Lazio defender Stefan Radu’s agent Matteo Materazzi has highlighted the player’s tough start to the season.

Speaking in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster Radio Incontro Olympia (via Alfredo Pedulla ) last night, the Italian agent spoke about his client’s current position on the sidelines of coach Maurizio Sarri’s project in Rome.

Radu’s situation at Lazio is not the best. He hasn’t played in this early season between cups and league and for him, after tournaments at high levels, it is a particular moment.

Stefan is very well, he trains as a great professional as he is, obviously the decisions are made by Sarri, he will be ready when the time comes.

I spoke with Radu after the vaccine administered, physically he felt down, however, he recovered and fought like a lion and will continue to do so.

Luis Alberto Is Certain That “Lazio Will Have a Lot of Fun” Under Coach Sarri

The 34-year-old Radu, who is contracted to Lazio until next year in 2022, has not played a single minute so far this season under Sarri, falling down the pecking order in the squad.

Inter Striker Lautaro Assures Coach Inzaghi That He’ll Be Available for Match vs Lazio

The Romanian veteran has been with the Biancocelesti since the summer of 2008 and is the club’s all-time appearance record holder, but it seems as if his final season in Rome will not be a happy one.

Sarri needs to decide between Radu and Patric to fill in for the suspended Francesco Acerbi in the upcoming match against Inter, and currently, the Spaniard is the favourite to start.
