Athletes in the United States aren't the only ones supporting the Black Lives Matter movement to end racial injustice and police brutality. Bundesliga players in Germany have been honoring George Floyd in matches, and now Eintracht Frankfurt is taking that to the next level.

The club is wearing special "Black Lives Matter" jerseys during the DFB-Pokal semifinal versus Bayern Munich on Wednesday in solidarity with the movement and to honor Floyd.

Eintracht Frankfurt is following the acts of Schalke's Weston McKennie, who wore a "Justice for George" armband during last week's match against Werder Bremen; Borussia Monchengladbach's Marcus Thuram, who took a knee after scoring a goal against Union Berlin; and Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho, who ripped off his shirt after scoring to reveal an undershirt with the message "Justice for George Floyd."

All of these actions were in response to the death of George Floyd, 46, who died two weeks ago in Minneapolis police custody.
