Real Madrid Champions League winner Steve McManaman insists Jude Belligham has had the best debut season the club has seen.

Bellingham has 21 goals and ten assists in 37 games for Real Madrid so far this term.

"Luis Figo entered the dressing room. R9, 'El Phenomeno', entered the dressing room. Zizou (Zidane) came into the dressing room," McManaman said on TNT Sports.

"No one has made an impact like he (Bellingham) has done and he has done it at the age of 20. It is phenomenal.

"His form throughout the year has been exceptional. Exceptional.

"He came to Real Madrid as a big signing at the beginning of the season at the age of 19. This was a year of transition for Real Madrid as Karim Benzema left, and of course Eden Hazard and (Marco) Asensio."
