Rio Ferdinand has reacted to the news of Harry Kane refusing to train at Tottenham by asking if Paul Pogba would have received the same courting in the media, had he done the same.

Earlier on Monday, the news broke that Kane had failed to report for Tottenham training despite being expected to return from his holiday after an extended break was granted.

Kane was part of the England side to reach their first final in a European Championship, scoring four goals in the process. Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw, who were also part of the side to play in the final loss to Italy, are both believed to have returned to training.
