USA coach Gregg Berhalter is confident Christian Pulisic will prove a big hit at AC Milan.

The USA captain completed his move from Chelsea yesterday.

Berhalter told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "Pulisic is a star in America, but for Milan it is not a simple question of the brand. Christian has a lot of quality and he was taken by the Rossoneri above all for his usefulness, not only because he is an American footballer.

"For us it is important news, a great opportunity for him and for the development of our football. He has chosen a great club, with a rich tradition, he will play to win the league and the Champions League, he is a strong footballer, he was born for this.

"He knows how to play multiple roles and it's no small matter," continues Berhalter. "He can play on both flanks without problems, as an attacking midfielder and performs well as an attacking midfielder thanks to his creativity. He is also dynamic, he works a lot in the two phases."
