Ligue 1 matchday 38 was quite a memorable one for Paris Saint-Germain, which included a stout farewell performance by Angel Di Maria against Metz.

Di Maria turned back the clock in the contest, scoring a goal and logging an assist. He also won six ground duels and created a pair of goal-scoring chances during his time on the pitch.

After the win, Di Maria said his goodbyes to Lionel Messi, Leandro Paredes and Mauro Icardi.

Di Maria will not share the pitch with them again at PSG, although he is slated to join them for the Argentina national team’s 2022 FIFA World Cup run later this year.
