Angel Reese has only ‘hate’ for Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark, according to retired quarterback, Robert Griffin III. This especially comes after the Chicago Sky vs. Indiana Fever matchup on Saturday. Both the teams played their very first game of the season and the Fever managed to put up a beautiful win against the Sky.

Apart from the matchup being a season-opening game between two strong teams, the reason why the game was so exciting was simply because of Angel Reese’s rivalry with Caitlin Clark. To add to the excitement, Reese and Clark had a tiff in the middle of the game when the latter tried to block her as she was trying to make a score. Reese could be seen exchanging a few heated words with Caitlin Clark, with Aliyah Boston trying to get in the way.

“After watching Caitlin Clark’s flagrant foul on Angel Reese and the aftermath, there is no way Angel Reese can continue the lie that she doesn’t dislike Caitlin Clark. I know what hatred looks like. Angel Reese HATES Caitlin Clark. Not some basketball rivalry hate either. Hate.” Robert Griffin III said about Angel Reese’s feelings for Caitlin Clark on his social media.

The Angel Reese vs. Caitlin Clark has been ongoing since their college basketball days. While Angel Reese played for the Maryland Terrapins and the LSU Tigers, Clark played for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Both the players created a name for themselves even before entering the professional basketball league.

Angel Reese And Chicago Sky To Take On New Liberty Next

On another note, Angel Reese and the rest of the Chicago Sky will be locking horns with the New York Liberty for their next matchup of the new season. The Chicago Sky played their very first game of the 2025 WNBA season against the Indiana Fever and lost abysmally.

In their game against the Indiana Fever, the Chicago Sky lost with a final score of 93-58. In that game, Angel Reese led Chicago’s offense with 12 points, grabbing 17 rebounds and assisting once, while Ariel Atkins added another 11 points, with four boards and a pair of boards. Rachel Banham managed eight points for Chicago in the losing effort, while Kamilla Cardoso and Rebecca Allen each matched seven points.

Before they took on the Indiana Fever, the Chicago Sky warmed themselves up with two preseason games against the Minnesota Lynx. The Sky won the first game and lost the other in the preseason.
