LeGendre was third on Maryland’s depth chart behind Taulia Tagovailoa, who transferred from Alabama and won the starting job, and backup Eric Najarian.
Ohio State’s next scheduled game is against No. 10 Indiana on Nov. 21. Maryland is scheduled to host Michigan State on the same date, depending on resumption of team activities.
For now, the Big Ten and Pac-12 are two major conferences that have decided to go with conference-only schedules this season. For Maryland, that means its season opener is now slated to be Oct. 3 against Minnesota.
