Unfortunately, AEW will be without one of its stars due to injury as the company continues to build to the Dynasty pay-per-view event later this month.

Career

That star is Ortiz. After breaking into the wrestling business, Ortiz and Mike Santana became a tag team in 2017, where they found success in Impact Wrestling, where they were four-time Tag Team Champions.

They later signed with AEW in 2019, where they didn't hold gold but were part of Chris Jericho's stable, The Inner Circle. After a dispute in The Inner Circle, they left. Ortiz and Santana split up in 2023.

Injury

While appearing on Isiah Kassidy's vlog, Ortiz revealed he's injured. When the video was filmed, he said that he was going to have surgery in two weeks with the belief that he'll be out of action for four months.

Ortiz last wrestled on the January 20th episode of AEW Collision. We wish Ortiz a speedy recovery.
