Jack Perry says that he wants the best for AEW.

On the April 24 episode of AEW Dynamite, Jack Perry met with Tony Khan following his return at AEW Dynasty. Khan reinstated Perry, who was previously suspended for his involvement in a backstage incident with CM Punk at AEW All In. Perry then attacked Khan, and the Young Bucks joined in as they dropped Khan with a piledriver.

Perry appeared on the May 1 episode of AEW Dynamite, and he was asked to comment on his actions. He said that he meant what he said when he told Khan that he wanted the best for AEW. Perry stated that that’s what he did. He noted that Khan was the one who made him the “scapegoat” in the first place.

Perry said that he accepted it, as it was a sacrifice that somebody had to make. Perry said that everyone has to sacrifice, and thanks to Khan, AEW had entered a new era under The Elite.

Earlier in the show, The Young Bucks said that they had taken over, as Tony Khan was not cleared to travel.
