Two new matches have been confirmed for the upcoming AEW Battle of the Belts VII special that takes place this Saturday night on TNT after Collision.

AEW first aired the special in January 2022 following the launch of Rampage and Dynamite's move to TBS.

During Wednesday’s taping of Friday’s episode of Rampage, the matches were revealed, including Taya Valkyrie vs. AEW Women’s Champions Toni Storm.

On Rampage, Valkyrie defeated Izzy McQueen. Post-match, Toni Storm and Saraya confronted Valkyrie, leading to Valkyrie challenging Storm to a title match at Battle of the Belts. Storm agreed to the match. She would embarrass Valkyrie in Calgary in front of her family.

The other match revealed for the special is Orange Cassidy defending the International Title against Lance Archer.

This was set up after Archer beat Trent Beretta before challenging Cassidy to a title match after the bout. Archer said the Best Friends would die if Cassidy didn’t come out, but he did, and Archer was talked out of choke slamming Cassidy.

TNT Champion Luchasaurus defending against Shawn Spears is the only confirmed match for the show. You can check out the spoilers for Friday’s Rampage here.
