Betting on Derrick Henry this NFL Saturday

Derrick Henry has been activated and will be playing football Saturday for the Titans in the Divisional Round.

Earlier this week, we highlighted one of our favorite props in this game, Joe Burrow. After a few days of reflecting, it's time to add one prop bet more: Derrick Henry.

Remind Yourself Who Henry Is

Look at that run. It's one of dozens of game-changing runs the Titans back has delivered through his career.

His over today is currently set at 82.5 rushing yards on DraftKings, and it's a number worth betting.

All reports indicate Henry is going to play a major role in Saturday's game. This man was seeing unbelievable volume prior to his injury. Henry had 28 or more carries in six of the eight games he's suited up for this year.

He's gone over this total in six of the last seven games he's played. On the year, Henry averaged 117.1 rushing yards per game.

His over/under was being released in the 100s when healthy, and now we get it at 82.5? Sign me up.

His Matchup

The Bengals by no means offer a menacing front that Henry can't exploit. PFF grades the Cincinnati rush defense 22nd in the NFL and their 4.4 yards per rush average is middling among the league's units.

Running backs have had success against the Bengals lately. Josh Jacobs ran for 83 yards in the Wild Card game. From Weeks 15-18, running backs averaged 117 rushing yards per game against Cincy.

No team runs more than Tennessee on a per-game basis. It's the identity of their offense. Don't fear the Titans limiting Henry, rather have faith that him being activated means he's ready to go.

The Titans have home field advantage and a legitimate chance to make a Super Bowl run. Remember, this is a team that has gone to the playoffs three straight years.

Two years ago when they made a run the AFC Championship Game, it was behind a massive effort from Henry.

Last year when they lost their first game, Henry was stifled to just 40 yards. The recipe for success in Tennessee is quite clear, so we're betting Henry's over on Saturday.
