The Philadelphia Eagles announced one roster move ahead of Week 15's matchup against the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football.

The Birds elevated rookie cornerback Mekhi Garner from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.

This is Garner's third and final elevation as he was previously elevated against the New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins.

The move makes sense since the Eagles will be down starting cornerback Darius Slay, who underwent knee surgery last week.

After tonight, the Eagles will need to sign Garner to their active roster or bring him back to the practice squad if he clears waivers.

The Eagles also have Josh Jobe, Kelee Ringo, Eli Ricks and Bradley Roby to turn to at cornerback.

In addition to Slay's absence, the Eagles will be without starting linebacker Zach Cunningham and starting right guard Cam Jurgens. That means more snaps for freshly required linebacker Shaquille Leonard and back guards Tyler Steen and Sua Opeta.

There's also a slim chance that the Eagles will be without starting quarterback Jalen Hurt, who is questionable to play due to flu-like symptoms.

We'll know more when the Eagles announce their inactive list about an hour out from their 8:15 PM kickoff time.
