Five-leg touchdown parlay for NFL Sunday

Let's be clear: touchdown parlays are designed to be something fun to root for on NFL Sundays. Placing too many is a sure way to lose your bankroll, so please be responsible with these wagers. With that being said, I have a free bet from FanDuel from one of the previous Thursday Night Football games that I need to use up, and I'm building out a parlay of a few favorites to find the end zone on Sunday.

I've built this five-leg parlay, which comes in at +2563 on FanDuel, thanks to this article organized earlier in the week. I'd urge you to jump into that resource and build your own TD parlays, which looks at advantageous spots and who stands to benefit based on volume.

Michael Pittman

Pittman is expected back this weekend after missing Week 2, which will be a welcomed sight for Matt Ryan and a Colts offense that was just blanked in Jacksonville.

In Week 1, Pittman saw 13 targets — three in the red zone — and turned that into nine catches, 121 yards and a score. He's the clear WR1 in Indy and should get his chances against Kansas City, especially as the Colts likely play catch up.

The Chiefs have allowed three touchdowns to receivers through two games and allowed the sixth-most the position last season.

AJ Brown

AJ Brown hasn't yet scored as an Eagle, but he has garnered a steady stream of targets and seems bound to find the end zone soon. He gets a great matchup to do against a Washington secondary that has allowed three touchdowns to receivers this season and 19 last year. It seems the middle of the field has been the Commanders' most vulnerable area, which should suit Brown's game given the slants he has been running in this Philly offense.

With 21 targets through two games, we'll bet on WR1 in Philadelphia scoring this Sunday.

Joe Mixon

Mixon is in a smash spot to score this Sunday against the Jets. No team allowed more touchdowns to running backs than the Jets in 2021, and they just allowed Nick Chubb to score three times against them in Week 2.

Mixon is the clear top dog in this backfield, taking 46 carries and seeing 13 targets through two games. Despite this involvement, Mixon hasn't scored yet. That changes Sunday.

Davante Adams

Did you watch Monday Night Football this week? Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs torched this Tennessee defense, with Diggs scoring three times. Allen threw four touchdowns that game, and the Titans defense has now allowed four touchdowns to receivers this season, the second-most in the NFL.

Last season, Tennessee allowed 20 touchdowns to receivers, good for fourth-most. In comes Davante Adams, Derek Carr's clear top choice in this Raiders offense.

Adams has a touchdown in both games this year and has barely left the field en route to 12 targets per game. With five red zone looks in just two weeks, he's garnering elite volume and is in a good spot to break the plain once again.

Cooper Kupp

The chalk continues, but -155 for Cooper Kupp is honestly one of the best prices we'll get for the volume hog on the Rams.

Kupp has scored three times this year already and has seen an absurd 29 targets in two games. He's a massive red zone threat, and gets a soft Cardinals defense to keep his scoring streak alive. Arizona has let up eight touchdowns this season, second only to Detroit.

The Rams are sure to pile up the points on Sunday, and with a team total of 26.5 points, the books agree. Kupp is the safest choice here in this offense.

That will do it for this five-leg parlay. It's tame in comparison to some of the other plays I've run this year, but guess what? Those plays haven't delivered yet. I'm going for volume in soft matchups and hoping we turn this free bet into a +2563 hit. Enjoy the weekend's action, we'll have some more picks, including some long shot touchdown targets, so keep your eyes peeled.
