I will be the first to admit that my personal Week 2 touchdown bets did not pan out. As is typically the case, it was mostly circling the right spots and picking the wrong players.
To cut through that, I'm offering a chance for you to do your own research and cobble together some touchdown plays that resonate with you.
I've done my typical gathering of data to circle a few potential areas of interest for touchdown targets, along with the players who feel most likely to be involved. Bookmark this, and let's see how this approach does in aiding your NFL Sunday bets!

Why they're here: The Colts have let up two touchdowns to tight ends and a pair to receivers. This comes after being inside the top 10 of most touchdowns allowed to both of these positions in 2021, and the vulnerability appears to still be here in 2022.
Volume leaders:
Why they're here: The Chiefs have let up three touchdowns to receivers through two games and allowed the sixth-most in 2021.
Volume leaders:
Why they're here: The Lions have let up four touchdowns to running backs this year, the most in the league. In 2021, Detroit allowed the third-most TDs to the position.
Volume leaders:
Why they're here: The Ravens have let up five touchdowns to wide receivers and two to tight ends this season. That's the most to WRs and tied for second-most to TEs. In 2021, Baltimore ranked inside the top 10 of most touchdowns allowed to both positions.
Volume leaders:
Why they're here: The Jets have allowed three touchdowns to running backs through two games and led the NFL in TDs allowed to the position last year with 23.
Volume leaders:
Why they're here: The Titans have allowed four touchdowns to receivers, the second-most in the NFL. Last year, Tennessee saw 20 WR touchdowns against it, good for fourth-most.
Volume leaders:
Why they're here: The Commanders have allowed three touchdowns to receivers in two games, and their 19 touchdowns to the position last season were sixth-most in the league.
Volume leaders:
Why they're here: The Jaguars have allowed four touchdowns to receivers in two games and saw 17 scored against them from the position in 2021.
Volume* leaders:
*Keenan Allen was hurt early in Game 1 but saw four targets before leaving. His status is unknown for Week 3 at time of writing.
Why they're here: No team has allowed more touchdowns to receivers than the Falcons at five, and they were tied for fourth-most TDs allowed to WRs in 2021.
Volume leaders:
Why they're here: The entire Rams offense is up for grabs here, as the Cardinals have allowed eight touchdowns this season, 2+ to each position. In 2021, Arizona's 27 touchdowns allowed to wide receivers were the most in the league by a sizable margin.
